Everybody is welcome at The Forum – we’re a public building that’s here for everyone. Designed to be accessible, our building is a friendly space in the heart of Norwich, with over a million visitors each year.

Our stunning building is available for hire, and is the perfect backdrop for your event. We offer flexible and accessible spaces, affordable pricing (including a not-for-profit rate), an expert Venue Hire team, and high footfall – as well as an on-site car park and coffee shop.

Our spaces include The Atrium, a large central space perfect for markets, fairs and expos, The View, a flexible light-filled meeting space, and our purpose-built Auditorium, which seats 120. Our large spaces, like the outside of the building and The Atrium, are bookable by individual zones. We present Norwich Science Festival; one of the country’s leading science festivals, Norfolk Makers Festival; a celebration of creativity, Norwich Games Festival; an interactive gaming festival, and coordinate Norfolk Heritage Open Days as part of the country’s largest free festival of heritage and culture. There are opportunities for organisations and individuals to get involved with all of our festivals, including exhibitor stands, sponsorship, and partnership events.

The Forum also works with partners across Norfolk to support on large scale events such as Norwich Pride, Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Run Norwich.

The Forum is home to the Millennium Library, BBC East, Pizza Express, Café Bar Marzano, On the Stall City and Norfolk Citizen’s Advice Bureau. There is also a safe and spacious underground car park on-site with accessible spaces and EV charging facilities.

The Forum is managed by The Forum Trust, a registered charity which receives no regular public funding. By choosing The Forum as your venue or parking in our building, you’ll be helping to support our community events, festivals, partnerships and projects.

The Forum opened in 2001, and was the landmark Millennium project for the East of England, part of a £2 billion range of buildings, environmental projects, celebrations, and community schemes funded from the National Lottery to mark the year 2000.

The Light Aircraft Company Ltd (TLAC)

Since the start of The Light Aircraft Company Ltd we have been committed to the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of light aircraft ensuring safety, quality, and innovation.

Along the way twists and turns have created challenges and opportunities to grow our range of aircraft, aviation related products and level of services we can offer to General Aviation and improve the flying experience of pilots around the world.

Our Vision is to become a global supplier of quality engineered light aircraft which incorporate safety, performance, style and value for money. We continue to innovate in both production methods, materials and airframe design. Continuous improvement and rigorous testing ensures that when you buy a TLAC aircraft you are not merely taking up a hobby but you are buying into a whole new lifestyle.

Our Maintenance Mission is clear, to provide the best service and support to our owners, to ensure that they can with confidence enjoy their aircraft with friends and family travelling or touring, with the confidence that their aircraft is meticulously maintained, and that they are fully compliant with EU regulations.

Our core values are integrity, passion, innovation and safety.

We have come a long way but in many ways we have just taken off.

The Norfolk Hospice

The Norfolk Hospice provides care, comfort and compassion to those in our community nearing the end of their lives and to their families and friends.

People referred to our service have a variety of life-limiting conditions, including the many forms of cancer, heart and lung conditions, and neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Parkinson’s Disease.

We provide day therapy, home care including day respite, outpatient services, and support for patients, carers and the bereaved. We also collaborate with our partners in the provision of a full Hospice at Home service for patients at the end of life. We are responding to local need by growing our organisation, and in September moved into our brand new purpose built facility in Hillington.

Your support is appreciated and very much needed. The percentage of our funding that comes from the NHS, 10%, is well below the 35% national average, so our services depend on your help, from donations and legacies, and from volunteering.

The Norwich Society

Over 100 years of valuable service

From saving historic Elm Hill in the 1920s, to more recent advocacy for the best possible outcomes for Anglia Square’s development, as well as sustainable transport systems, town planning policy and the highest quality in modern architecture, the Norwich Society has been focused on preserving and improving the city’s built environment and public spaces for over 100 years.

But our work isn’t done – our committees continue to push for consideration of significant issues facing our future, and we have specific committees focusing on aspects of infrastructure, planning applications, the civic environment and protection of the character of the city’s historic environment. Working in collaboration with the City Council and other bodies, and with the support of our membership, we help to effect positive change and keep Norwich an appealing place to live and work.
