The Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA) for East Anglia provide an essential link between the military and civilian communities across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. We do this in a wide variety of ways ranging from supporting reservists employers, managing and maintaining our reserve and cadet sites in the region, encouraging recruiting and liaising with a wide range of local communities, MPs and councils.
We aim to be an enduring and essential pillar in the delivery of support for the well-being of the Reserves and Cadets and, through our effectiveness and our position in the regions, to be the independent body that represents their interests and promotes understanding between the Armed Forces and Civil society.
In order to maintain effective links with the community, the Association has a broad base of volunteer members drawn from former officers of all three services and cadet forces, representatives from local authorities, local business communities, trade unions and industry

Why are Uptech Strategic Partners and what does this mean to their business? “Strategic partnerships are often formed to enhance business opportunities, collaboration, and mutual benefits between organizations. However, that is not the reason for Uptech’s partnership. We have partnered to give back into the area. It gives the opportunity to pass on our knowledge and expertise to those around us, but to also talk to those with expertise that we do not have. There is a shared learning experience to be had. Jason Carlton, our MD is part of the LSIP program and working with the team on that. There are fantastic events to attend and support. We have reached people that we would never have spoken to, connected and work with. The commitment from both parties is to support the goals and initiatives of each of us, engaging jointly in events and marketing. The relationship works well, as we have the same thought process, to help those businesses around us thrive.” James Fowler, Business Development Manager
