Delivery 2 day intensive programme delivered by Chris Howard BSc (Hons), MSc, PGCE
Chris has continuously developed himself academically starting with a Degree in sport science, with a dissertation in coping behaviours in military training environments. On completion of his BSc (Hons) Chris immediately embarked on a Master’s Degree by research. His thesis is titled, ‘The identification of changes in coping behaviours and the influence of repression during Pre Parachute Selection Training’, and can be found in the British Library. On transferring to the Education and Training Services branch Chris completed his Professional Graduate Certificate of Education with Southampton University. Whilst serving at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Chris maintained his current research interest in leadership and coping behaviours with the Communications and Behavioural Science Department at the Academy.
Chris has served all over the world primarily as a training expert. Of significant note was his work as a Psychological Operations specialist in Afghanistan, where his expert knowledge of behavioural science was put to excellent use under extreme conditions of conflict in Helmand Province.
