The importance of protecting personal data is something that has entered the public consciousness. Over the last few years there have been a number of headline grabbing fines levied on organisations for what can appear to be minor breaches. However, we are all plagued by those who appear to abuse our personal data and others that use data protection legislation as an obstacle to routine activities.This session will give a practical perspective on how to comply with the law and how best to address common situations that arise.
