New Anglia LEP is working with Government to develop a Local Industrial Strategy for Norfolk and Suffolk. The objective of this work is to identify the actions we need to take to support businesses to grow and make the most of the business opportunities, particularly in energy, ICT and Digital and Agri Food, which are real strengths of our region. We are holding a number of business and stakeholder engagement events over the next couple of months to help develop the actions and investments which are needed.
This is your opportunity to ensure we take the right actions to create the environment for your business to grow. This event is aimed at businesses and academia.
This event will be focused on our business opportunity: Future Mobility
Our overall goal is to transform our economy into one of the best places in the world to live, learn, work and do business. We have set out a clear vision, priorities and targets in the Norfolk and Suffolk Economic Strategy – our blueprint for inclusive growth and productivity. You can find further details about the Local Industrial Strategy on our website.

Continuing our series of networking sessions in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses, we’re looking at ‘The 20-minute business plan’ with high-performance business coach Phil Budd at this networking event at the Millennium Library in Norwich.
Approximately two thirds of businesses do not have a plan – let’s change that in this session!
In 20 minutes, Phil will help you review your business across all areas – finance, marketing, sales and operations – helping you to identify what is holding your business back and gaining clarity on what you need to do to move your business forward – creating a plan!
As part of the session, you will receive a scorecard, allowing you to review your business, which you will keep private and won’t have to share with others.
It’s a great opportunity for someone external to your business to get you thinking about areas of your business you may not have thought of…and become a business owner that does have a plan.
In addition, there will be a prize draw for someone to win membership to Phil’s High Performers Academy worth £365 and a 90-day planning session worth £300!
And of course, there’ll be time for networking and a chance to speak to us about the free support we can offer your business through one-to-ones, workshops, access to market research databases and intellectual property guidance.
