The Bloodshake Chorus are a rumbustious band of the undead, unearthing the classics of the fifties and sixties with a horrific twist, in a way you’ve never heard them played before. Performers with heart and soul (not all of them originally theirs) their relentless advance has seen them spread terror throughout the country and even infect the international airwaves. Be afraid, they may be dressed for the abattoir, but they’re coming to a venue near you soon, so keep the lights on. It won’t help, as they like to see what they’re eating.
The Men That Will Not Be Blamed for Nothing are from London, formed in 2008. Their name is a reference to the chalked graffiti discovered above a section of blood-stained apron thought to have been discarded by Jack the Ripper as he fled the scene of Catherine Eddowes’s murder. Tmtwnbbfn are fronted by ex Creaming Jesus singer Andy Heinz.
Our open days offer you the chance to find out more about the innovative MBA Programme, look around our contemporary teaching facilities and meet current students, the MBA Programme Director and Course Leaders who will be there to answer your questions. We offer both Full-time and Executive Part-time MBA courses that fit around your career plan, starting in January 2016.
In addition to the core MBA modules our MBA students have the opportunity to study one of three subject areas where the University has established a world-class reputation: Brand Leadership, Strategic Carbon Management and Economics and Finance. Included within the elective choices, you can choose to explore how climate change and energy management are now at the core of building sustainable business in the 21st Century, or how brands are shaping our perceptions of what modern businesses represent – both as consumers and in an economic sense.
In partnership with the Institute of Food Research we are launching a Food Industry stream for the Executive Part-time MBA, starting in January 2016, looking at how issues such global supply chain management and consumer buying behaviour are shaping this critical sector.
“Completing the MBA has been a momentous fulfilling journey for me – it has allowed me to explore further business and management from an academic basis and put into practice my learning and understanding.” Sam Brown, Executive MBA Graduate

Roll over Beethoven, because the greatest tribute to Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra is here! In an all live show featuring soaring strings, striking vocal harmonies and playing all the much loved songs from ELO’s hit-filled library including Evil Woman, Telephone Line and Don’t Bring Me Down. The ELO Encounter promises a night filled with rock, roll and Blue Skies that would make even Mozart mambo and Bach boogie! So Hold On Tight because Rock and Roll Is King in a show that is guaranteed to have you partying All Over The World.
Not only flawlessly recreating the wonderful music of ELO, it’s a spectacular live show from start to finish. Stunning lights and special effects create an atmosphere that will have you fully immersed in the whole experience. As the ELO Encounter reel off ELO classic hit after hit, it’s guaranteed to have the hairs on the back of your neck dancing in time to the music!
As a recent reviewer remarked, “Not really a tribute, that cheapens what this band do, which is to transport you back to those days. So sensitively and authentically done, at times it felt like it was actually ELO being mirrored up there on the stage”.
That’s what The ELO Encounter tribute show is all about.
